What's New in 2022?

Parents Get 2 Weeks Free in January

Have you wanted to try either a Fitness class and/or a Martial Arts class? In January, parents can get a pass to try out 2 free weeks of any class at EVX (new memberships only). Contact Shihan Josh or CLICK HERE to schedule up for your first class.

First Saturday Women’s-Only BJJ

Starting February 5th, we will resume a women’s-only Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu fundamentals class and open mat led by Jennifer Moree. This class is FREE and open to any women and girls ages 13 and up (no EVX membership required). We want to provide a safe and welcoming space for all women to come to learn, grow, train, be challenged and supported through the skills that come with stepping on the mats with other women.

COVID Safety

With the new variant of covid, we’re reverting back to requiring masks inside the dojo at all times. We’re also now carrying K95 masks at the front desk; however, there will be a $1 charge if you require one. Please respect the dojo and other members by having your mask on before entering the dojo. We know masks are not ideal for training, but safety will always be the #1 concern at the dojo. Additionally, we’ve set up more fans for enhanced airflow inside the dojo.

Friday Teens Class

Starting January 7th, Friday’s mat time will be split between Tigers (5 to 7) and Warriors (13+). There will no longer be Dragons (8 to 12) on Fridays in order to provide a focused time-slot for higher-level techniques for teens. The rest of the schedule stays the same. Please see the full schedule here: https://evolutionxma.com/class-schedule/

Volunteer Opportunities

Over the years, EVX has given back to the community through donations to various charities. Starting in 2022, we’d like to give back even more with quarterly volunteer opportunities, like with the Atlanta Food Bank and others. The martial arts journey is one of self-cultivation and self-improvement, but through this journey, we find that part of that is giving back to others as well. More details to come.
